Lauren Furman

Growing up, Lauren loved spending time with her little sister, hunting with her dad, spending time with her grandparents, and always looked forward to summer-time activities. These are all still some of her favorite things to do, but has since added golfing, working on her home with her husband, watching movies, and going to concerts to the list!

Lauren’s family includes her husband, Mason, and their sweet pup, Lady. However, she also feels blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful friends and family. 

She’s known from a young age that she wanted to grow up and help people in need, and is still passionate about serving others. This led her to the University of Nebraska at Kearney where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies with a minor in Educational Studies.

Lauren has worn many hats while working at Compass. From Intern, to Family Specialist, Foster Care Specialist, and Church Engagement Lead, to now being in the roles of Community Engagement Lead where she engages the community in child welfare and overseeing the implementation of CarePortal. Lauren is also the Family Services Team Lead, overseeing staff and helping them serve their clients well.
