Jenny Valdivia Pena

One of Jenny’s favorite memories of when she was a child was Christmas, because she would be with her sisters and her mother to celebrate the holiday. They would all decorate the house and watch movies together and simply just spend quality time together. Jenny’s family today includes: her two sisters and her three dogs. Jenny pours her heart into cooking, which is a skill learned from her mother. Jenny feels that it’s her way of keeping her memory of her mother alive – while also feeding people with love.

Jenny feels that her lifelong desire to help children has led her to joining our team. She enjoys the support we provide to children and families, and excited to make a difference in the lives of those that she serves.

She is currently attending UNK and is pursuing a Bachelors degree in Family Science with a minor in Educational Studies. Jenny is on track to graduate next year.

When Jenny isn’t working or studying, she can be found listening to music or immersing herself in books. She also enjoys spending time reading scripture. One of her favorites is “I can do all through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13.
